Here is my rag quilt that I made for baby girl (any name suggestions, peeps?). It's my first sewing project (besides my 9th grade home-ec pillow which never made it past one wash). Scotlyn proudly put the pattern together out of love for her new sister. I think it turned out pretty cute and cozy!

So cute!!! I have a quilt like this all cut out, and cannot bring myself to get it all sewn together! It makes me crazy, cause I couldn't get it to "perfectly" line up, so I gave up. Yours is soooo incredibly cute, and girly and springy and yummy!!!! PS. one of my friends made Alex a small quilt like this and it was one of my favorites, so sad he's "grown out" of it.
That is so cute! I love making those quilts... I have all sorts of patterns and different designs but I haven't made any for about a year or two. I'm sure baby girl will love it!
Great job, it's so cute! You may have to make some more now.
I think it is funny you are so crafty but you don't sew. At you haven't yet....
That is the most precious baby girl quilt - Love those colors and rag seams! I can just picture lucky Turner cutie baby girl #4 wrapped inside that special blankie. And to have older sister Scotlyn work her magic on the project! What could be better! I want to hold that baby in a few months, but I know that probably won't happen! Well, maybe :)!
Ooooo . . . I've always wanted to make a rag quilt--they just seem so cozy. But quilting is Chandra's thing (I can't even cut straight), so I stick to knitting. One day, perhaps! Good to hear from you, by the way--who knew that Gail even read my ramblings? ;o) I've been enjoying your blog, backtracking to the very beginning posts to see what's up in your life (I'm still in the 2007 posts.) Your girls are gorgeous!
So cute!! Don't you just love making those. Cami showed us how to do one and Aimee made one for one of her YW projects. DARLING!!
...and this is super cute; not bad at all for your first go round! I have such a hard being patient enough to make the squares straight.
That is the most adorable blanket!!! Great job!!!
