Family Party

Coco scored! She got some great gifts from friends and family! Jared and Coco (and Grandma Turner) share the same birthday. I love them all SO MUCH!

We all spent the morning of Jared and Coco's birthday at Chuck-E-Cheese. I think Jared had more fun than anyone. Afterall, it's the place where a kid can be a kid!

Coco's Friend Party

Since it was raining, we had to have the picnic inside which was almost as fun! Coco is now "fo" years-old.

Ladybug Picnic Paraphernalia

Coco had a ladybug picnic birthday party. Here are the party favors I made and the ladybug cake from Sam's Club. It was SO GOOD!! I had got these little tin buckets from Logan's Steakhouse and put the first letter of each girls name on the bucket. I put a tiny lollipop, bubbles, a lip gloss and nail polish in there. Those are just few of my lovebugs favorite things!

Curly Q's

Coco wanted to have curls for her birthday party so after her bath we put in all the curlers I could find. Scotty wanted in on the action, too, and took it upon herself to make her hair curly (she has naturally curly hair, but whatever). Coco didn't last an hour of trying to sleep with them so I took them out. Oh well.

Lost

Scotlyn finally lost her first tooth a few weeks ago. She didn't want to let it go but as you can see her permananet tooth was pushing for it's way toward the front and final position. Way to go, Scotty! You were so brave when daddy helped you remove it!

Dang! He's Good!

I'm so proud of Jared for getting another Tennessee Associated Press Broadcasters Award for Best Web Site! Here's a picture of the one he got a couple of years ago. I will try to get a picture of the new one as soon as they let me get back into his office (they won't let family in the newsroom due to increased risk of the swine flu).

Smyrna Chicks

Today my Smyrna chicks took me out for brunch at Panera Bread and to a movie! I had so much and I snapped this picture of them before they drove away! These are three of the most loving, Christ-like women I know! THANKS SO MUCH FOR SPOILING ME!!!!

Frowns & Floss

I knew it was a little too quiet the other day when I found Coco de-spooling the dental floss. The frowns are because she got a lecture, just like she did when she unravelled the toilet paper.

After the Marathon

I forgot about these pictures but after the marathon we stopped by News Channel 5 and scoped out Jared's candy drawer in his office. It was nice to be in a dim, cool sitting place after our long, sunny and humid trek through downtown Nashville.
I tried to get all three girls in the smae picture but it didn't work out.

Scotlyn pretending she's the boss and loving every minute of it.

Jared and his team won this Tennessee Associated Press Award (of course Jared has his hockey pucks in there)
