"Heid! Move! Now!"

Remember to pause the playlist on the sidebar before you watch the clips.

Jared knew the answer... the movie is "So I Married An Axe Murderer" and may be one of funniest movies that the young whipper-snappers don't even know about.

Here is another gem from said movie:

Black-Eyed Pink?

I have pink-eye, ya'all. Not fun. I don't look good in pink. Pink is definitely not a good color for me. I'm contagious. Don't come near me. Stay away. Leave me alone. I'm too busy "crying myself to sleep on my huge pilla" (to get rid of the pink, of course). Those of you who know what movie I'm referring to here, please offer your truthiness and the first person who guesses correctly, will get an uncontaminated prize.

My BFF

My college roommate and friend for 16 years, Danielle, came to visit us! She is our first far away visitor we've had more than once! We had a lot a fun going to movies, getting pedicures, and going to dinner! Mostly I enjoyed just hanging out and talking and laughing, and getting to use our inside jokes. My girls love and adore Danielle and she treats them like her own! Come back soon, Danielle! We miss you already!

My Lady

The dreaded day has come when I had to buy Bryn a "training brassier". Coco took one look at her with it on and starting laughing hysterically and pointing saying, "Bryn, you a lady, a lady, ha, ha. . .ha, you a lady."

We Served Time

Andrea, me, and Chantal before church.

You can pick your friends, you can pick your nose, but you can't pick your friend's nose. After church, Andrea and I obeying orders to be silly.

Bryn, Scotlyn, Brock, Coco, and Scott. My girls and Andrea's boys. Coco flirted big time with those boys!

Coco doing ninja moves in a dress.

I used to work at a prison. Okay, not really, but it felt like it. Chantal was the first to be set free, then me, then Andrea after we served time at that place that shall remain nameless. Anyhoo, these cell mates were in Nashville for a friend's wedding so we had the unexpected opportunity to hang out together. Chantal stayed with us for the weekend and Andrea and her family came to church and had Sunday dinner with us! It was a really fun reunion! Thanks Chantal and Andrea and fam!

Nails In My Coffin?

I finally have a permanent record. I did something about my bare-just-moved-in look of my walls. I HUNG UP PICTURES!! More specifically, I put nails in the walls. I knew this was against the laws of the Turner-land, but I just felt rebellious. My accomplice in crime, (alias: Frosty), actually took the weapon and did the deed but I was the real perpetrator. . .the mastermind behind this criminal act. I hired "Frosty" to aide and abet in this crime because she has the ability to do a very good whack job with her aim at nailheads. However, at approximately 18:00 hours Detective Jared walked onto the scene and instinctively knew there had been disorderly conduct. After discovering no priors "Frosty" was off the hook but I got busted! The forensic evidence was overwhelming! Later, I got an acquittal after an obvious confession of guilt. My official statement is: In the words of Laurel Thatcher Ulrich, "Well behaved women seldom make history." That's my story and I'm sticking with it.

Crime scene A: Chalkboards I just made of my superhero girls. Chalkboard paint is the greatest invention ever!

Crime Scene B: Finally the picture that "Frosty" took for Detective Jared and I is being shown-off in all it's glory.

Crime Scene C: These pajamas were worn by all my girls and I had to have their skivvies exhibited in our half-bath for guests to laugh at for black-mail's sake (another crime I'm guilty of).

Crime Scene D: This is for the girls' bathroom. I think it's a good message to the girls of uh. . .enduring to the end?

Plainly you can see that this was all a crime of passion. . .for crafting and decorating. What is your verdict? Guilty or Not guilty?

Far & Wide His Love Proclaim

President Spencer W. Kimball of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints stated, "Make no small plans, they have no magic to stir mans souls. This is the Vision I have for the South. I believe one day the South will baptize more people into the church than all other English speaking missions in the World together. There are hosts of marvelous Baptists, members of the Church of Christ, Methodists, and Catholics, who are honorable people and have faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and love him. As they see their church veering off to the right of the left of those basic teachings, they will begin to search for truth. And as pivitol teachers come into the church and have influence, we will see the time when we will baptize hundreds, and thousands, tens-of-thousands, in your day you will see a million members of the church in the South. There will be Temples plural in the South State. What a great call you have to serve with these marvelous people."

Coco's Mom

My new name is Coco's Mom. Jace's mom went to have his baby sister in the hospital so we had a slumber party with him. He kept calling me "Coco's Mom". I love it! Coco and Jace are in the nursery at church together so they had fun playing. Apparently, Coco likes "Coco's Mom" shoes. I'm surprised she didn't break a foot like Coco's mom is prone to do, too!

Turner-self Around

That's what it's all about. It's my 1 year blog-iversary this week, and I would like to thank all my pundits that have frequented my site and offered some truthiness. In light of this event, I would like to offer a free giveaway (redundant?) of a newly made "What if the Hokey Pokey is what it's all about?" stitchery. If you would like the opportunity to win this, please leave me a comment on this post and I will number each comment, put the numbers in a hat, and have my Random Generator System (my 3 year-old daughter) draw the winning number. This will begin immediately and end at exactly midnight on July 19. I will announce the winner in a post. You do not need to have a blog to post a comment. Anyone can post a comment so go for it! Unless, of course, you don't like stitcheries and can't think of anyone who would enjoy this as a re-gift. Hmmmm. . .Good luck and keep putting your right hand in and then take it out, put it back in again and shake it all about. . . turner self around and that, my friend, is what it's all about.

Farewell Faerber!

Another legendary missionary from our area is gone! Elder Faerber was a diligent, humble missionary. We hate to see him go, but know he will be a faithful servant even outside of the mission! We had him and his parents over for dessert last night and stayed up late talking to them since they were so down to earth and fun! Now we see where Elder Faerber gets it from! We will miss you, Elder Faerber!

Having a Ball

Going toward the sprinklers with umbrellas. Love it!

Coco strolling through the town.

Maddy and Scotlyn cruising around.

We stopped by the Ball's house the other night with our pajama clad girls and played on their cool equipment. We had a ball, Ball's!
