Scotlyn got in trouble this weekend and decided to draw pictures of her misfortune and how mean daddy is. She interpreted them for me: The first shows Jared and his "mean face" pointing his finger toward the "door", with a bubble over his head with "words" of "Go to your room" along with an "arrow" pointing to him to show the culprit of her sadness. The thing that looks like a sun is actually the ceiling fan in the bonus room. She also tried to make the roof line of the bonus room with her "V". The BYU game is on the T.V. "and, mommy, you can even see the football." I am the one on the computer chair turned ever-so-slightly to the left so that I can see what is going on. The two girls are Scotlyn and McKoy playing. Scotlyn is crying in the picture. Which brings us to the finale of the second picture of Scotlyn's heart. In her words, "Daddy break-did" my heart." Jared and I busted a gut after she explained these and left the room.

Scotlyn is so intelligent in the way she sees what else is going on outside the circle of her own drama. Some adults don't understand situations as well as she does!
She's going to have to write a book when she gets older. I'd read it in a minute!
