What do these letters stand for? Whoever guesses correctly by 7 p.m. (central) Sunday, August 17 will be entered to win a homemade craft from yours truly. EHS stands for a rare neurological condition called exploding head syndrome. Sandy's exemplary clue, "getcha HEAD in the game," helped me narrow down my suspicions. Attacks most commonly occur in the twilight stage as the individual is falling asleep. People with this condition describe a terrifying loud sound, often described as a bang, that lasts only a moment and doesn't result in headache or pain. Obviously the people guessing East High School haven't watched enough "Dr. G: Medical Examiner" on Discovery Health. Ha!
